They were way too light duty to use as regular t-bars. Seller ignored requests to return (even though they claimed 30 day policy) Anyway, cut my losses & made them into pinspot stands. Cut the ends off the t-bar, left a whole on either side of the center. Super easy, less intrusive in a corner when slotting centerpieces, etc. There is room on the stand for 5 pinspots (2 more can be added on the bottom side.)

DJ Tips in under a minute: microphone placement for a ceremony. I started doing this set-up about 4 months ago and it works REALLY well. I place the microphone between the officiant and the bride and groom, but I place it straight up or pointed slightly forward to the bride and groom. The biggest thing is height, I drop the stnad down about 6″-8″ below the three of them and I find that it picks up everyones voices perfectly! Try it at your next ceremony sound check and just see it works for you, it should be great. The main benefit is for the close up photos, they don’t have the microphone in the B&G faces!!

I will show you the proper way to do an over under wrap. this is the best way to wrap a cable. it allows you to throw the cable and it unwind into a nice straight line. instead a bunch of pigtails, or worse. only down side is it requires a secure way to fasten the cable, because if one end goes through the coil, the cable will knot itself all the way down.
