Whenever I get a new version of Serato DJ, I always keep the older version loaded on my laptop, just in case the newest version gets buggy or has problems. It’s also a good rule of thumb to practice with any new versions before a gig, don’t download a new version and then go to your gig without checking out all changes first. If a new software version comes out on a Friday or Saturday, I won’t try it until Monday so as not to jeopardize my events.
